Kovalam is a small town in Kerala near Thiruvanthapuram. It is located about 18 kms from Thiruvanthapuram and is well connected by public buses. It takes about 45 mins to reach by bus. The place is world renowed for its beautiful beaches, as a result people all over the globe come to this place to see its beauty. I visited the Kovalam sea beach in March of this year for the photography purpose and was awestruck by its beauty. The water of Kovalam beach is turquoise blue in color and quite clear, which makes it look magical. It has mainly three beaches – the Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach. Only the first two beaches are frequented by tourists, whereas the last beach does not have much tourists. There are numerous hotels, restaurants and shopping centers near the beach. You can choose to stay in Thiruvanthapuram and visit it for a few hours or you can stay in one of the hotels facing the sea. Below are some of the images that I have taken during my visit to the sea beaches.
